FEATURED READER: feature guest writer Celia Jeffries. Celia’s writing has appeared in numerous newspapers and literary magazines including Westview, Solsticelitmag, and Puerto del Sol, as well as the anthology Beyond the Yellow Wallpaper. She recently finished a novel and is currently working on a memoir. During this time she has taught writing at every level from elementary school through university, adult education, and literacy programs; received a grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council; and been named a Massachusetts Humanities Scholar.
Celia will read for 15 minutes, followed by Q&A.
Open mic starts at approximately 3:40. Readers get up to 5 mins to share their work.
NOTE: This date coincides with Ashfield’s WinterFest, featuring general revelry and Christmas trees and crafts on sale. Come early to park close by and do some holiday shopping!
