Justine Dymond’s short story collection The Emigrant and Other Stories (Sowilo Press, 2021) won the Eludia Award from Hidden Rivers Arts. Other honors include an O. Henry Prize, Pushcart nominations, Mass Cultural Council 2020 Artist Fellowship finalist grant, and second place in the New South 2017 prose writing contest judged by Porochista Khakpour. She co-edited Motherhood Memoirs: Mothers Creating/Writing Lives (Demeter Press, 2013) and teaches writing and literature at Springfield College.
